An elite training environment for players dedicated to improving—where skill, Soccer IQ, and leadership are pushed to the next level. It's about work, dedication, love of the game, and leadership.

Nominate a Player

What is the Performance Academy?

The MUSA Performance Academy is built to accelerate the development of our most dedicated Select players, giving coaches and teams an extra layer of skill and leadership training beyond the regular week. It's one or two additional sessions each week, reserved for players who are serious about taking their game to the next level.

Sessions are led by our Technical Director, Phase Directors, and Coach Cary Tsamas. Together they focus on the finer points that separate good players from great ones: foot skills, leadership, Soccer IQ, and intelligent movement off the ball.

Players earn their place through nomination. Coaches and managers identify the players they believe are ready, and we count on them to take an active role in spotting that potential—because when our players grow, the entire club grows with them.

A nomination is an opportunity, not a guarantee. Acceptance and continued participation are earned through what a player brings to every session: work ethic, dedication, a genuine love of the game, and leadership on and off the ball.

How Nomination Works

The Academy is built around players nominated by their coaches, managers, or parents. A nomination is a recommendation—not a guarantee:

  • Coaches, managers, or parents nominate players they believe are ready
  • Being nominated does not mean a player will be accepted—or retained
  • Selection is based on work, dedication, love of the game, and leadership
  • Players must commit to at least two 10-week sessions per year

All nominations are reviewed by our coaching staff.
