What is the Developmental Academy?

The MUSA Developmental Academy is designed for families who want more than just extra touches on the ball—it's for players ready to grow with purpose. This program provides professional-level coaching focused on building strong fundamentals and improving game understanding in a structured, supportive environment.

Players train twice per week with others at a similar level, allowing coaches to give more individualized attention while still creating a competitive, engaging atmosphere. Every session is part of a thoughtfully planned curriculum, so your child's development is intentional and consistent—not random.

Unlike drop-in programs, the Academy is a season-long commitment that allows coaches to truly track progress, give meaningful feedback, and help each player improve over time. It also serves as a clear pathway into MUSA's competitive teams for those ready to take that next step.

Who Should Apply

The Academy is designed for players in age groups of U9-U12 and U13+ who:

  • Are enrolled in the MUSA Rec program
  • Can commit to 2 of the 3 sessions per year
  • Are motivated to build fundamentals
